About Mo' Creations & Couture

Charity Nyirongo of Mo’ Creations & Couture specializes in designing for men, women and children. Fashion has always been her childhood dream. Her designs are inspired by the African experience. This encompasses African traditions, cultures, history, landscapes, architecture and colours from various countries of Africa. Being Zambian, it is of great importance to focus on the Zambian experience from the many tribes and provinces of Zambia. Charity likes to make accessories such as handbags and hats.

Fabrics used are mostly obtained locally, though there is an infusion of fabrics obtained from other countries. Charity paints on the fabrics, both by hand and through the use of a screen in order to transform the fabrics and give them her desired touch. This transformation allows the designer to personalize the fabric, make them unique and interesting.

Mission Statement

We strive to make contemporary designs which are global yet infused with the African continent. Whether it’s the print, the art or the way they are draped we should bring out the Africanness. We realize that in order to sell successfully throughout the world we have to be sensitive to the global market.
